I got a Cube!

It wasn’t a promotion – just a new desk.

Where I was sitting at work, I sat at a regular computer desk in a corner of the office with my co-worker Steve.  We refered to ourselves as the ‘stepchildren in time-out’ because we were separated from the rest of the staff in an alcove.

Today, we got our own cubicles!  And they are by far the biggest cubicles in the office.  There are two other people who have the big cubes – the Dispatch manager Duane and the A/R-A/P department (one lady, Karen).  All of the Customer  Service supervisors have medium sized cubes and the customer service reps have little cubes.  But I have a MASSIVE one!!

I know its probably stupid to be excited about a cubicle.  But hey, I like it.

And another thing…

I can’t believe I’ve kept a somewhat consistant blog for 3 1/2 years.  Wow, that’s pretty insane.

Updates, updates…

So, I guess since its been since April that I’ve written anything, I ought to update.

What’s new…?

1) I turned 24 in the period since I’ve been away.  Nothing too special.

2) I’ve had the dreaded Zombie Throat Rot twice.  My doctor doesn’t seem to know what it is but it seems to be bacterial (it responds to penicillin treatment).

3) My work schedule changed – now I work Sunday – Thursday except for every fourth month (September, January, May), during which I work Monday – Friday.

4) I’ve changed instruments.  Now I’m playing Bass primarily, and Rhythm Guitar secondarily.  Because apparently I have better rhythm than Liz, and that’s a pretty crucial requirement of a bassist.

That’s really it.  I don’t have anything witty or interesting to write about.

I won teh lotto!

Now I need to go claim my prize!

I wonder what I’m gonna do with my winnings.

Eh, I’ll probably buy more lotto tickets with the profits.
